iPad For Seniors

Perfect for new users and senior adults! This three-hour workshop will cover all the basics: connecting online, installing & organizing apps, adjusting your settings, using mail, backing up your device, and much more. iPad Mini and all versions of full size iPad welcome!

Malinda is an early adopter of iPad technology. She & photojournalist husband Glenn planned NOT to get one the first day, but after seeing it, just had to take one home. Malinda knew immediately that this devise would change computing in really big ways and knew she needed to get one to get a jump on what was ahead.

Malinda uses her iPad all day every day. Some of her favorite activities with iPad are:

• teaching photography on a 1 to 1 level with private photo workshops
• projecting presentations made with Keynote, on her laptop or iPad, during her group photography classes
• sharing handouts via saved pdfs created using Pages either via print or email
• invoicing commercial clients
• posting to her WordPress blogs via the wordpress app and another little gem.
• typical things like emailing clients, posting to facebook & twitter, reading articles on LinkedIn.
• scheduling social media posts to happen at a later date.
• photographing, editing, and posting photos on Instagram, flickr, and other photo-centric networks. Malinda LOVES sharing photos and connecting with folks world-wide via Instagram.
